Collaborative Care Trainings for Depression and PTSD
The REACH NOLA Mental Health Infrastructure and Training Project provides skills-development and continuing-education training to community-based:
- primary care providers
- therapists
- clinical care managers
- social workers
- case managers
- outreach workers / community health workers
Trainings are based on similar highly effective trainings delivered through the:
Organizations participating in skills trainings also receive support for assessing how to implement the models of care within their own organizations.
MHIT has conducted seven successful collaborative care trainings for treating depression and PTSD to date: two trainings in 2008 (July and October), four trainings in 2009 (February, May, August and December) and one in March of 2010.
Our next training is scheduled for July 2010. Continuing education units may be available.
